Current self-portrait

Hi, I’m Liza Kane.

Between daydreams of what chocolate would pair nicely with my next cup of coffee, I write Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy.

(A couple of contemporary stories have been simmering on the back burner for quite some time–no robots, mutants, alternate-universe-doppelgangers, or anything–weird, right?!).

I’m hugely inspired by Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, Star Wars, and Firefly. I also love tropical beaches, sweeping deserts, and urban landscapes, and my work is a random combination of all these elements. (All of the pictures used on my website are from my travels!) 🙂
